Abstract

Artificial intelligence is playing a critical role in modern space exploration, from autonomous navigation to data analysis. This paper reviews AI applications in planetary rovers, satellite image processing, and space weather prediction. We examine machine learning algorithms used in spacecraft control, object detection, and astrobiology research. Challenges such as data scarcity, computational constraints in deep space, and AI reliability in extreme environments are discussed. Future directions highlight advancements in AI-driven mission planning and extraterrestrial exploration.
